Briefly about the activities<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Lithuanian Chemical Society is a non-governmental organization whose legal status is an association. It unites Lithuanian chemists, in addition, legal entities can also be members of LChD. The goals of the association are:
\n\u2022 Publicize chemical science and chemical technologies in society;
\n\u2022 Educate and advise the public on chemical science and chemical technology issues;
\n\u2022 To organize conferences, seminars, trainings, adult education, qualification improvement for its members and other people;
\n\u2022 To encourage students\u2018 interest in chemical sciences and chemical technologies, to encourage them to choose the profession of chemist;
\n\u2022 Participate in the organization of the Lithuanian, Baltic countries’ and international chemistry olympiads;
\n\u2022 Publish LChD publications and otherwise publicize LChD activities;
\n\u2022 To represent LChD in foreign countries and related organizations of chemists.<\/p>\n

In recent years, our main activities have been:
\n\u2022 Organization of international conferences;
\n\u2022 Representation of the Lithuanian Chemical Society at EuChemS.
\n\u2022 Promotion of science in Lithuanian and foreign media;
\n\u2022 Organization of seminars.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
